About Us​

The Armenian Huntington’s Disease Association (AHDA) is a newly established organization created to support individuals and families affected by Huntington’s Disease in Armenia. Although we are at the beginning of our journey, our mission is clear: to raise awareness, provide reliable information, and build a strong community that no one faces Huntington’s Disease alone.

Our Mission

As part of the global Huntington community, AHDA works closely with the International Huntington Association to bring knowledge, resources, and hope to Armenia. We aim to connect patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and advocates, promoting collaboration and improving access to support and care.

Our work will focus on:

  • Raising awareness about Huntington’s Disease across Armenia
  • Supporting families through information, guidance, and community initiatives
  • Advocating for better access to care, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Building connections with international experts and organizations

 

Even as a young association, we believe that every step counts. Together, we are committed to creating a future of understanding, visibility, and hope for everyone affected by Huntington’s Disease in Armenia.
